This doesn't really have to do with the babies...more about me.
Did anyone watch Oprah today? I found out I'm a Shlumpadinka (Basically spend the whole day in PJ's or sweats.)
Since the babies were born I rarely get out of my PJ's in the morning and sometimes even forget to brush my teeth! I've been neglecting myself so today I am going to start making changes. Today I put my makeup on, brushed my teeth and got dressed....granted it didn't happen until noon but I did it. Now I need to start finding time to workout!
Anyone else find this happend to them after the babies?

Oh please! Makeup, fixed hair, clothes that match went right out the door when the boys came in! I now live in Old Navy tank tops (cheap!) and jeans. I have been more vigilant about working out, but I end up spending the rest of the day in yoga pants. I need to make more of an effort, but I don't think the check out people at Kroger would appreciate all my hard work. :p

[SIZE=12pt]Yes it did! :hug99: Though I was never one for makeup, I skipped that one, I did make an effort to at least get dressed and brush my teeth daily when I felt myself getting really down in the gutter about it. It seems like such a little thing to do, but it does wonders for your self esteem. You can do it momma!! This week it will be before noon, next it will be before 10 and before you know it, you'll be getting dressed in the morning! :shok: I know!

yes, I was on maternity leave for three months. I didn't need to do anything with myself, but than again I just didn't really find the desire to. I took showers, just not everyday like I used to. I lived in my sweats and tank tops and my hair was always in a pony tail. I'm back at work so I have to do myself up but I do miss the sweats and pony tails.

How about housework? I havent folded laundry since the girls came. I seem to only have time to hit the high spots. The rest well....I do all this in my pjs!!

I do get a chance around noon to shower and put on makeup, but the work out time...I havent been able to fit that in yet! I wish!!!! I am waiting for warmer weather so that I can load the babies up in the stroller and hit the pavement!

I didnt see that Oprah but I decided the same thing last week!! I decided I at the very least would put jeans on and mascara and put my contacts in! DH NOTICED!! He loves my tooshie in jeans so of course he noticed I got outta my yucky sweat pants! I havent ever had my rear pinched this much! LOL :D Anyway I told him I had been feeling really frumpy and gross and just had no energy to get going every morning. So he is making sure I get outta this house and down to get my hair done, eyebrows waxed and buy some new jeans (because YAY mine are too BIG!! :a_smil09: ) Anyway it has really helped with my disposition alot!! Good luck! Oh and I am going to start running again as soon as the Eastern Mt Glacier melts!! :p

I make it a point to get a shower while my oldest son is still here he watches them while they take a quick cat nap right away in the morning. I do not get my makeup on till later but I feel I need to, to feel like a woman not just a mommy, hair forget it I just pull it up. I do get dressed but comfy because I will be wearing all their buggies, droll and food so I will change if I have to go somewhere :) I have started putting perfume on lately makes me feel good. Food I have resorted to nutritional shakes cause well I do not get time to eat. But there is nothing wrong with staying in pjs we gotta stay comfy :)

Oh my gosh, this made me laugh SO hard!! I totally saw that Oprah this morning & thought to myself that I am becoming a Shlumpadinka!!! Now I do get dressed & put on makeup to go out, but when I'm home alone all day, I barely get my contacts in.
