Just wondering if anyone does this for kids under 1? My guys eat pasta and cheese - and wondering if there was a way to make it from scratch using formula?

    Thanks

I'm so bad...my boys get good old easy mac...not often, but if I'm out of "healthier" baby dinners, I will whip them up a batch (1 pack for the two of them) grind it up and they go to town...the love it!!
Guess it's my bad mommy of the week award!

I don't think it's any worse than the chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and whatnot kids at age 2 and 3 will eat. If you are making a box- you could substitute the formula for the milk. Is that what you were wondering? I don't see why whole milk wouldn't work for you either when making it from scratch. My girls started whole milk around 11 mos adjusted (14 mos chronological). I hope that helped some. ??

I was thinking more of just melting cheese and formula on the stove and pouring it over premade pasta? Something along that line???

The pedi has said no whole milk until at least a year actual - so two more months to go for us - and we'll only be 9 1/2 mos adj. at that point - so I think I'm stuck w/formual or water?

Are there eggs in the readymac? we've been told no egg white till a year actual as well....

Pedi said no whole milk - but we could do yogurt and cheese...

BTW - I tried it, by heating formula - adding shredded cheddar and coating noodles - it worked and they loved it!
