    What do you guys think...

Are Lysol wipes safe to use? In the evenings, after the babies are in bed for the night, I take Lysol wipes and wipe down
the bouncy seats (plastic parts), the exersaucer, the swing (plastic surfaces), some of the toys, and any other plastic/hard stuff.

My mom and mother in law made a comment not too long ago about how they thought they were "too strong." But, I'm using
them when the babies go to bed and nothing is touched for several hours. Just wondering if these are safe? Now I'm worried.

If they AREN'Tsafe: what do you suggest using?
If they ARE safe: can I use t hem on the fabric parts of the swing, bouncy, playmat?

As always, thanks in advance for your time/help!

I think it should be fine, since as you said, they arent being used for several hours after you wipe them.. but I would suggest using either Clorox 'Everywhere spray' or Lysol 'Food and surface' cleaner if you are concerned. Both of these are fragrance free and safe to use on everything. Im pretty sure you dont even have to wipe them off, but sometimes it does take a while to dry by itself, so it would be best to do at night, as you are already doing. :D

Personally, I think they are safe and would be very convenient to use.

I think they might be a little bit strong, but that's just my opinion :) I was using Lysol wipes on my desk at work when I read the label one day. It indicated to wash your hands after using them, be careful not to come into contact with fabric, etc. Maybe the wipes that you're referring to are milder, but the ones I was using seemed to be pretty potent. I would think that if your children are home all day, the surfaces that you're cleaning might just need a milder soap. Just my thoughts.

I always wipe everything down with baby wipes then I spray it down with Clorox Anywhere Spray.

Yes, what you are doing is very safe! If you were using them and then putting the babies in right away, I would say make sure you rinse them off first, but if it's not being used till the next morning... you are fine! I used them all the time at the daycare. Quick, easy, and convenient. I used them on everything, highchairs, tables, chairs, etc. It is basically bleach and water on a wipe! Another option and it is cheaper, but possibly not so convenient... depends on what is easiest for you... but you can mix water and a teaspoon of bleach in a spray bottle and wipe down with a paper towel. Again, if you use it when the babies are going to be in contact within a few minutes, wash it with the bleach mixture, let it sit a minute, wipe it with a towel, then rinse with another spray bottle of clear water. Wipe it with another towel and you are done!

I usually use water and white vinegar when cleaning something the babies might get in contact with.
