I was thinking of switching from pampers to luvs they are just so much cheaper and the kids are getting older now.....just wondered if anyone has tried them and if they liked them
I personally can't stand them. The sides aren't stretchy, and DS is on the larger side, and they just never fit him. Everyone is different though!!
We love them, only used LUVS with all my kids, they do make them with stretchy sides now(my new case has them). The price is good as well!!!
They work great for us. I normally buy in bulk from Costco (Huggies or Costco brand). But when we're getting close to moving up a size I buy Luvs because I don't want to end up with 100 extra diapers that don't fit them!
We also made the pampers to luvs switch and I really like them. Like pp said they now come with the strechy sides. Its amazing that they are made by the same company, you think they could price the pampers cheaper!
Love um! We had such a problem with pampers, they broke the girls out in this aweful rash. I love the price too Another tip, go to ebay, look up luvs coupons. I did this awhile back and bought 15 $3 off coupons for $3...it saved me sooo much money by doing that
I was using White cloud and switched to Luvs because they kept getting diaper rash. Now no diaper rash and no leak problems either! My 10yo likes them because they have Blue pictured on them. He is delayed so he still likes Blue's Clues. Unlike Trent who gave that up years ago.
we've used them for daycare (cloth at home) and for long outings with no problem. The sides aren't stretchy, but we've not had any fit issues because of it. I'd say go for it. I usually get larger coupons for luvs in the paper than for other brands too...most recently $3 off!
I love LUVS! I recently tried Pampers Baby Dry again(because MIL bought them) and they leaked so badly (I ended up selling them to a woman in my area who makes diaper cakes, lol). Just a little helpful hint I Google Target Luvs coupon every month and download a $3 off coupon to Adobe and save it I use it all month and then when it expires I search for the new one.
We LOVE Luvs! WE have tried every other brand and just can't find anything else tht works for us. We have never had any leak issues. And if you do....LUVS offers a NO LEAK GUARANTEE! So you are out nothing if they don't work. I too get coupons for $3 off alot. So I normally get a Mega box (108/size 4) for $16.00. But this week our Walmart had them on sale for $16.00 a case, so I used my $3 coupons, and got them for $13.00 a case, $.12 a diaper!!!! WOOHOO! Gotta love a bargin! HTH! Also to add...my DS and DD are completly different sizes. DD is about 3 pounds and 2 inches more than DS and is my "chunky monkey." My DS is my "Skinny Minny" and we use size 4 on both of them, (mainly because daddy kept putting DD in DS's smaller diapers) for convience. We haven't had any issues with they way the fit either.
honestly, we hated them. In fact, I almost threw away the rest of the bag after the 3rd time they were pooped through. I think it may depend on the shape of your kids legs; for ours, they just did not fit - there were big gaps front and back no matter how we tried to tape them.
We don't like them here. They don't hold my babies in well. I agree with Sara, I think it depends a lot on what your babies legs are like.
i swear bye luvs in my house. my oldest son wore luvs.than when i had the twins i tried other cheapers ones but... when right back to luvs!!! i have never had any problems with them but i know some people that say the leaked. but i think it all depends on ur childs leg shape like with any other diaper. but also luvs has that leak protection program so if they leak u can send ur reciept in and they will refund all of ur money back to you!!
