lunches for when you are out

We always eat lunch at home and then go out, but I would to take them out to the park or something and eat while we
are out,
they only have 4 teeth so they can eat a sandwich only in bits and pieces and they don't really like cold cuts,
what to you give them?

 

My dd only has 4 teeth but handles sandwiches really well, better than ds with 10 teeth actually. We do crackers with cheese, fruit bars, cereal bars, and grilled cheese and sometimes just goldfish or puffs or lil crunchies or something like that in a snack trap with no real meal! Depends on where we are and what we are doing!

 

They can handle more than you think without teeth. When we go out I usually get PB&J (or almond butter and jelly), bananas, clementines, fruit bars, cheerios etc.

 

I get the little Jammy Sammy's if I need to take something little for them along with crackers and cheese or cereal bars, cut up fruit or veggies, goldfish, sometimes chips, pretzels etc. If we are eating out I'll order grilled cheese and a side since they'll eat most veggies or fries. We try to go to places with salad bars if we can since I can get them stuff right away and they LOVE veggies.
James only has 4 teeth and he probably eats more than his brother. His favorite is PB&J. If I give them sandwiches with lunchmeat they usually pull the meat out. James will eat his separate (he likes to deconstruct the meat sandwishes) but Jack won't eat the meat hardly at all. If it is tuna salad or chicken salad or ground meat, they do better.
