Lucy and Nate are here!

Hi!
I hope everyone is doing well. Things here are good. Lucy and Nate arrived via c-section (Nate was breech) on Friday, March 20. I was about 38 1/2 weeks along, and Lucy was 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and Nate was 7 pounds 10 ounces. Both are perfectly healthy, and no nursery time! Yeah!!! I was so miserable at the end of the pregnancy, but I wanted to let you all who are miserable and waiting to HANG IN THERE! It is so worth it when you see your babies for the first time! The c-section wasn't fun (I threw up during it and for several hours afterwards), but now I'm getting around pretty well. My older two children (ages 5 and 2) love the babies and have been so sweet with them. Now we're just trying to get the twins to sleep in their own cribs instead of in our bed!

I hope things are going well for all of you! I know a twin pregnancy is tough, but it really is worth it!

I don't know how to post pictures on here (sorry!), or I would post a picture of them.

Wow!! you did terrific job. I can imaging how hard it was at the end. I remember being pregnant with only one baby with this weight.

Congrats! What awesome weights! Good job, mama. You've given me lots of hope. I'm 34w5d today and my dr thinks the babies will make it to 38 weeks. I can't imagine, but I'm glad to hear it's possible.

Welcome Lucy and Nate! So happy everything turned out great for all 3 of you. Good luck getting them to sleep in their cribs. You survived the pregnancy, you'll survive this as well!
