Hello! I'm only pregnant with one baby this time around and I went in for a 4d ultrasound last week and they measured my amniotic fluid at 8.3cm... the doctor was a little concerned but its still within normal boundaries. I went in today for another 4d ( baby didn't cooperate last week) and they measured my amniotic fluid and it dropped to 6.5 cm. I know it's just a precaution but my doc is giving me medicines to strengthen the babies lungs, wants me to drink and eat a lot and go in for a pelvic next week. He told me to monitor the babies movements and make sure she's ok. 6.5cm is still within normal range but the drop is whats scary in one week... when the amniotic fluid hits 5cm thats when its a real concern. Does anyone have any advice, prepare me for better or worse... thanks so much!

My baby A's fluid level hovered at the concerning level for a month and a half before she was born - they told me to DRINK, DRINK, DRINK!
not only water but fruit juices also. My baby A was also much less active than her sister - during the NST's they always had to use the buzzer and wake her - have they mentioned doing a NST?
AND.. she was always much smaller than her sister.
TODAY! she is a very healthy 5 week old that is actually a little heavier than her sister!!!

I wish you the very best you and the baby are in my thoughts and prayers!! [IMG]

I am having twins and one of my babies has a mild lower amniotic fluid as well. they never told me the cm.. but they are wathching me closely
until I deliver.. I am getting NST and u/s once a week now.. just keep watching it is all they can do right now.. its good that you are 30 weeks...
I always need reassurance .. pregnancy can be very stressful.
    hang in there.

my sil had that with her singleton & he turned out perfect. she had to up her fluids & had to take it easy. She was able to carry my nephew full term & had a scheduled c-section. All turned out ok, so that's the good news. Just nerve racking until he got here.

Best of luck to you! many [IMG] coming your way!

I was told this last week that baby A's fluid was low, they have me in again tomorrow to check it again. Hope everything is fine for both of us.
