my LOs use lovies when they sleep at home in their cribs. they will be going to an at home day care next month and i will be buying lovies to leave there. (cant imagine if i forgot them one morning when i was rushed, lol!!)

they dont use blankets when they sleep. i am not sure - i figured because they moved around so much that they would get all tangled. i was thinking of getting them a 'nap blanket' as seen here. BLANKET

do you think its a waste or just stick with the lovies.

The nap blankets are so cute! We have these My link from the same place and they have been the boys favourites since we received them! I do home daycare and LOVE when the kids have their own things that they can LEAVE here.

i wasn't sure if i should just get them their lovies they usually sleep with or something 'extra' cuddly and special like that nap blanket. :)

I'd just get them a lovie if they don't use blankets :)

Unless the daycare says they should have blankets, I'd go without them -- it would be just one more thing to forget, have to wash, have to buy another one of when they get attached to it, etc.

But FWIW, ours used blankets at daycare (because it was standard) years before they started using them at home. Somehow, everything just works differently at daycare!

What are their at home lovies? I would look for something similar to what they already have (although those blankets look gorgeous so I can understand the temptation).
Whatever you get it would be a good idea to put them in their cribs at home for the next month. That way by the time they start daycare the lovies will be familiar to your boys and have smell like home, which should make them more of a comfort in the new place.

its the same lovie from that company; just in a bigger size. the nap blanket is bigger and the lovey is smaller.

It may be something new and fun to distract them if they are still adapting to napping somewhere other than home. I am tempted to get them for my kids. My DD loves stuffed animals, I bet she would love them.
