I feel like there's been non-stop activity since I got pregnant.. we got married in August and were hoping to have a bit of relaxation time after a busy year of wedding planning. But, I got pregnant in September.. then we started looking for a house, job got crazy and there was lots of traveling, then Christmas, then we found a house, now we're moving in and getting contractors and selling our old place. My husband had surgery, one of the dogs had surgery.. In the next month we have to pull off all the moving etc, and I am bridesmaid in a wedding where I had to help to do a lot of organization. Then I am hosting a baby shower for another friend.. and trying to prepare for my own two little ones! It just goes on and on... going through my pregnancy diary I was amazed at how much STUFF is going on. I feel like I could stay in bed for a week! I am definitely not overdoing it, I take time for myself every day, and my friends and family have been super helpful,I don't mean to complain, we're very blessed.. but I can't help but feel overwhelmed.

I know I can't be the only busy one out there.. what are other people's "stresses".. sometimes it just feels good to vent a bit!

Here here on the stress/busy part! I find myself trying simply not to think with all that is going on in our little world. last year was a hell of a year for us that ended with me back in the hospital having surgery in the fall, finding out surprise baby on the way in december, found out at the beginning of january it was twins, my husband (our big main bread winner) was laid off 10 days later along with half of his company leaving me the only one with semblance of an income. That's not all that's going on and i still have a long way to go. What would a twin pregnancy be without a million other things going on right? Hang in there girl and remember to laugh at it all, it helps.

Oh jeez.. surgery and layoffs are NO good. I just about got laid off about a month ago and had to fight very hard to keep my job. My husband works in the oil patch, so that's another worry, as it could go any way with the prices so low!

I agree that laughter is the way to go. My husband had surgery on his tailbone so he can't bend over or sit or anything. And last week I had to drive him around to the dr. while he laid face down on the back seat... his shoe lace came untied at the grocery store and I had to figure out how to get my pregnant self down to tie his shoe and back up again. Not easy while you're backed up against the dairy case! We ended up laughing hysterically about it all... nothing else you can do!

I'm right there with you except most of what's going on in our lives right now is somewhat negative!!

We found out that I have a placenta previa, a velamentous cord and an SIUGR baby so we're going in weekly for dopplers/growth scans.
Our cat has been really sick and we had to have him put down last week.
Our daughter needs surgery on her tear ducts so that's in a couple of weeks.
My husband's parent is in the final stages of cancer and they're not sure they can do anything about it. (And they live across country)
I've thrown 2 baby showers in the past 6 weeks and am throwing another next week.
We just remodeled our bathroom (at least it's done!)

I think that's about it. I'm way stressed!

Becklynn... I am very sorry to hear about all those things.. it just seems like when it rains it pours.. sounds like you've got a bit of a monsoon going on. :hugs:

Not that I wish anyone stress at all, but at least misery loves company, right? :p Hopefully everyone gets a little relief soon.. I know that every time I go to an U/S appointment and see those little dudes, I feel a whole lot better!

woweee! you are one busy gal!!!

We did a major move just a couple of months ago so I feel your pain! we're still scrambling around trying to get everything in order and ready before the twins are born, so it's hard! Just remember to take it easy and relax from time to time :)
