Can I put lotion on my boys face? It looks real dry and flaky. Not sure what to do here. Being a first time mom, I am clueless!

I have used vasoline because it stays on longer and protects their skin from drooling etc throughout the day.

I don't know if I'd use lotion, but my Ped said it's ok to use Aquafor, or something similar. I would think the fragrance in some of the baby lotions might irritate the face.

I always used Aquaphor on that type skin. Vaseline, as Sarah said, also works well!!

My DS has eczema and I use Aquaphor when it gets really bad but I don't like the greasiness of it so once it gets manageable I've been using Eucerin Calming Creme. It's a fragrance-free lotion and it's been working pretty well for him.

I might try the Aquaphor. I have a lot of free samples of those.

We used Johnson's once but it was too perfumy. Now we always use Aveeno Baby "Fragrance Free Daily Lotion" and it works wonders on their dry little cheeks.

aquaphor and eucerin cream are fine. i think anything made for babies that is fragrance free. this is the time of year that the skin gets so dry!

These are great. Lotion is fine and they need it when they are dry. Just don't put it on their hands since their hands end up in their mouths

I use Aveeno lotion on their faces and sometimes Eucerin if they have really dry patches.
