Looking for something to do?

We made pet rocks! It was really fun and relatively harmless.

I took Jack and Lily to the craft store and let them pick out some acrylic paints. We also got little google eyes, cotton ball tails, and some glue and paint brushes. We came home and went down the street and picked out some rocks from our neighbors house. I laid down a towel on the porch and off they went painting the rocks and themselves. Then we glued on google eyes and tails...what fun!

Definitely going to put that on my porch activities list (you know, if it stays consistently above freezing any time soon here!)

 

That sounds like great fun, now how do I keep my boys from throwing them through the window or tv???

 

Oh what a cute idea...I remember when pet rocks first came out and some of my friends actually bought them!!
