Ok..I have booked my twins' 2nd birthday at a local farm, they have a petting zoo, corn maze, wagon rides, face painting, pumpkins etc.

I bought these large orange buckets to use as loot bags..now I'm stuck as to what to put in them! I have 5 two year olds and a 4 year old to buy for...obviously I thought of halloween candy, but what would be good for a 2 year old? Smarties?

Other than that I feel lost! The party is Oct 4th (birthday is Oct 6th!)

Plastic farm animals (I buy them by the bag at the 99 cent store)
    Crayons
Coloring book with a farm animal theme
    Bubbles
    Pumpkin stickers

  4. we had a farm themed party for my 3 year old in may. i got a red bandana and put in them a cow tale, farm theme stickers, a little chicken and a bendable farm animal. i brought up the corners together and tied them with some raffia and put a pinwheel in between the raffia and bandana. i got the stickers and animals at oriental trading company, the cow tales at michael's and the bandanas at walmart. the little chickens i made off a tutorial on crafster.org. i love doing special favor bags! Ooh i got some really cute invitations off vista print. they were barn/farm themed. :)

  5. i forgot... i got the pinwheels at the dollar store 3 for $1

When my guys went to a cowboy themed birthday party at the local petting zoo, they came home with the average goody bag but also some inexpensive costume cowboy hats. They've gotten some good milage out of those hats. You could probably find several inexpensive cowboy costume pieces to include with the goodies.

great ideas! I'll have to browse our local dollar stores to see what I can find..must have mommy brain, I didn't even think of things like pumpkin stickers or plastic farm animals! lol. Since it's almost halloween, I'm sure I can find pumpkin related things.

    Thanks!
