My girls have been great with their sippy cups and really like them for juice and flavored milks (and now regular milk, which we are working on ;) ) but I noticed today that Arwen was getting very frustrated as she was trying to hold it in one hand and drink and hold her baby in her other hand. She couldn't get a grip on it with just one hand and I'm bummed because I think she would have drank more if she could have just held it with one hand. So wha'ts a good one handed sippy cup that can hold up to 8 oz milk? Oh and I prefer that it has a hard spout since they are biting the softer ones. Thanks for your suggestions.

Maggie has a duck that goes EVERYWHERE with us. It's actually 2 ducks, but she didn't realize that for a while. Check out a Gerber one - it has a wider bottom and smooshed in at the middle so littler hands can hold it with one hand. Maggie really liked them. Gerber spill proof cups

I've not done the link thing before, so it might not work - sorry - but we got ours at Target.

We use the Gerber Fun Grips. Even my peanut can hold them with one hand with no trouble.

We use the Nuby cups with two handles; my son always holds his with one hand.

well.......I was going to suggest this one by Playtex. The lid can be interchanged with the other playtex cups so you can fit the handle onto something with 8oz. My kids love them and drink out of them real easy. But the review says it has PVC! So, now i have to go do some of my own research and I will be very sad to throw all of these cups away...boohoo....

Whatever you do, don't get the Avents. My kids hate them and they leak.

We use these munchkin sippy cups, and LOVE them. Both my girls like to walk around holding on to it with one hand. This cup makes it real easy.

We have various Gerber cups and they hold them with one hand a lot. The ones that are shaped like an hourglass are probably the easiest to do it.

We use the Nuby's and the Take n Toss sippies. Nick ALWAYS holds both varieties with one (LEFT!) hand. Joe can easily do it one handed as well, but it's Nicky's trademark. We get the no-handle sippy which are shaped like an hourglass as Kelly suggested. Walmart sells them for like $1.70.

We use the take & toss ones, and both my girls can actually hold them with one hand (even though they have no handles). They can also hold them with their teeth (and drink from them that way!).
