Lily is obsessed with taking tops on and off of things. She has become skilled at twisting the top off of whatever sippy I give to her. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on some that may be more difficult to master?

They aren't my fav, but my boys have always had a hard time with the Take N Toss sippies that have the handles snapped over the lids. If the handles aren't snapped on, the lids are RIGHT off...but thankfully we just use Gerber because they can't unscrew yet! What a little stinker you have on your hands!!!!

We use Klean Kanteen (yes it's spelled like that) with the Avent top. I think you'll find it if you google it.

Not exactly what you asked... BUT, give her open cups with meals and nothing but water in her sippy (so that if it's spilled, it's not that big of a deal). I've tried snap on lids and screw on lids and all sorts of spouts & straws. The truth is that there isn't a sippy out there that can stand up to a determined toddler. Once they reach the point that they can remove the lids, they surely have the motor skills to use a regular cup. We gradually phased the sippies out starting around that same age and for the same reason. I was so very happy to be done with washing them anyway!

I know it's hard to think about mopping after every meal, and it may be time to give her a rag to clean up after herself :)or train her to sit at the table while drinking . Cup has to stay on the table now at our house. We went through the phase of dumping everything, and my poor girls had to mop alot.

Sometimes even I can't open the SIGG sippy cups that we have.

Maybe they would work for her? They're not exactly cheap but the quality is good and my kids LOOOOOVE to drink from them.

Good luck-- I am not looking forward to the day we hit that hurdle!!
