We bought them this Little Tikes playhouse for thier 3rd birthday - we got it for $200 on sale. About a month ago, I bought this Little Tikes castle. They love them both.

We got our girls this http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2313596 They have so much fun with it and it's the perfect size for two. It wasn't expensive either. Some of those playhouses can be pricey!

:good: This is the one they got at Christmas and they LOVE it! Price is good, size is good, so it's all good. ;) It even has two built in seats with a table. Perfect.

The kind I'd really like is a set of open-ended Waldorf playstands that can be used with playsilks. Like these ones: http://www.threesisterstoys.com/c-78-waldorf-playstands.aspx I'm hoping my uncle can make some for the girls' birthday because we'd never be able to afford them.

I definitely do not recommend any of the cheaper ones that are made with fabric and rods like teepees or tents. My girls have bent the rods on two of those.

We got the pink and blue version of this one:

I got it off of craigslist in new condition-it had been used by one child indoors only. My girls love it and have plenty of room to grow. We use it with the patio wall closed in the playroom but when other kiddos come over, we can open up the wall and there is a ton more space.

We have the endless adventures playhouse by little tikes. It is big enough for four kids inside. There isn't a lot of stuff to it though, like no doorbell, seats, etc.

I'm trying to talk my DH into building one of these: http://www.kidscrookedhouse.com/index.asp for the girls. They are SO CUTE, but they're SUPER SUPER EXPENSIVE! Not to mention they're unfinished on the inside. So, if DH built it, we could do whatever we want to the inside. :)

This is my second choice: http://www.playhousestreet.com/Cape-Cod-Cream-Playhouse.htm
because we could probably find an old shed on Craigslist and then add the dormers and windows for really cheap.

Probably not what you had in mind though. I just want something they can use for 5 years or more.
