long stomach bug or reflux back??

This is pretty weird. The boys got the stomach bug, starting with Jack throwing up last Sunday. But now they are happy, playful, etc - just still randomly vomiting (mostly during or right after a meal).
We weaned Max completely off prevacid last month (he has had a cough ever since), and we weaned Jack down to 7.5 last week. So now we have no clue if it's reflux or the bug. I don't think a stomach bug would stick around this long (especially where they look and act better, just still vomit sometimes).

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the reflux is an issue again. We are dealing with that right now. Even my ds, who has been off prilosec for 6 months now is back on it again.

 

Mer: Can they just use Zantac for a little while? It might help since they are older but has a lot less side effects. I hope you guys are doing all well!

 

If you don't want to do the prescription strenght, have you tried just gas drops? Maybe a drop in each bottle?

I don't think the drops will help them right now. They seem to have it bad. I read that a stomach bug can make reflux flare up. I feel like it's so crazy at my house. We have no clue what to feed them. Pedialyte in case it's a bug, or formula if it's just reflux. Max has lost weight. We are praying the dr's office is open today.

 

Our little girl seems to have a touchy system, we are just now getting over the stomach flu again, and she does more vomiting with it than her brother. Have you tried half pedialyte/half formula? We had to keep Ainsley on this for several days longer than Carter. If we went to full strength, she would puke, then back to half strength. Otherwise she looked fine.
