LMP. My LMP was 12/9/06 and my u/s measured accordingly. I was charting so I know I ovulated on CD15 (pretty normal), so it worked out fine.

Unless you are an obsessive you usually dont' know your conception date... Ok, so I am an obsessive. But my ticker is done by my LMP. They are about 3 days off, but it's just a range anyway!

I never went by my LMP since my cycles are so long, that would not work for me.

LMP. Even though I know when I conceived because we used IVF but even still the doctors use my LMP to date the pregnancy.

We go by LMP which was 8/7/07. This is how they calculated my due date and the u/s go along with this date. I think we knew the conception date (documented at OB), but I don't remember anymore.

I am going by measurement of babies. I had no LMP as I was breastfeeding and had no ppaf.. and the Ovulation date that I had was questionable. By ovulation I had guessed Aug 16.. babies measured at Aug 14 and Aug 12..so we went with the middle ground and are using Aug 14 as our EDD.

We did IVF and the OB went by our date of transfer.

We went by conception date since we did IUI - and the u/s matched up. But, it is still calculated for 2 weeks prior to that for your due date since the chart thing thinks all women ovulate on cd 14. So, it's 40 weeks from 2 weeks before your conception date. If that makes sense.
