Little Tykes Playhouse

The boys turn one this month so I was thinking of having my inlaws get them a playhouse for outside. If you have one, do you like it? Which one do you have? Any regrets about the one you have. Thanks.

 

We have an old hand-me-down Little Tykes house, and the twins really like it. We just got it a month ago, and they are quite a bit older than yours . . . I don't know if they would have even understood what it was when they were 12 months old. Ours has a little kitchen area (plastic sink, play stove) and they love to "cook dinner" on it. I don't think I would have bought one new - they are pretty expensive for essentially being a big plastic box.

That probably doesn't help you much though . . .

We just ordered the Little Tikes Endless Adventure playhouse with the swing extension and two toddler swings. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival next Thursday!

 

Our neighbor gave us hers and the boys like it OK. They will go in it and open and close the windows, but that's about it for now.

 

We have the stone cottage one and my kids love it. It sits in our play area that has plenty of shade trees. DH built a little cobblestone pathway to it. I put a window box with flowers by the door. Our deck and hammock are right next to it. DS pretends it's a bakery and brings me pretend cookies and cakes all the time.
