Little People Toys

Those pesky Little People toys...how do you keep them organized? We have Little People scattered everywhere - it's driving me nuts! Other toys, like blocks, can be stored nicely in boxes/bins. Any suggestion for the Little People stuff? Unfortunately, it was Santa who bought the LP toys, which seemed like a good idea at the time! (The ones I found didn't need batteries! )

 

I have not yet found a method to keep the Little People toys organized, I just put them in the toy box for now. Is there a plastic container that you can store them in?

 

I'm finding the same with a lot of their toys! Seems like everything has pieces and parts. I'm just trying my best when I pick up toys at the end of the day (or during) to keep the toys together. Other than that I don't have any solutions. I like the PP idea of keeping them in a container. I've just got a large basket in the living room that holds their toys. GL!

 

We dumped all the people and animals (farm, Noah's ark, and some extras...) into one container. lol, I figure they can mix them up and it will be fine. Now as to whether or not they will stay that way... I have no idea. We also have a box for blocks.

 

I bought them a set for Christmas too... great, more to organize. I haven't even opened it yet... but I did just get baskets and some of the plastic containers w/lids that I can put in the closet. I'm hoping to have a way to just bring out one toy or type of toy at a time... ha ha - trying to be organized!

I put the Mega Bloks in one basket, and I guess the Little People will go in another etc.

 

I like the idea of storing all the of the LIttle People buildings/vehicles, etc. and people all together in one large container/toy bin so they can mix and match. Great solution!

 

We've bought a couple Little People block sets from Target that come with bins, and I try to dump all the Little People paraphenalia in those. Otherwise, I'd just suggest a big plastic bin dedicated to Little People.

 

We keep ours in a Rubbermaid tub. We have the farm and the amusement park and we have both sets together.

 

I got a little set of drawers, like as a side table kind of thing from TJMaxx/Marshall's. One drawer is for all the people and animals, another drawer is for all the vehicles/furniture, etc... they take out what they want. As for the buildings and such, they are usually lined up in front of the entertainment center or in the toybox.
