one of my DD keeps getting these little bumps (almost the size of flea bites and we don't have fleas in our house btw) in clusters all over her (back, chest, legs, face, etc...) they go away and then come back again. She also got sent home from daycare w/ a fever. Gave her Tylenol and it went away. But she woke up from her nap today w/ the little bumps again. She can't be seen by her pedi until tomorrow morning. I gave her Benadryl for the bumps....

What in the world can this be?? She is pretty cranky as well....

I sounds like it might be hives. Hives can be an allergic reaction to something but they are frequently caused by a virus. The big clue is that they look like insect bites and they go away and come back. We had several cases of hives that behaved that way. The treatment is Benadryl and they will go away in a week or two when the virus clears up. I really hope she's feeling better soon.

It does sound like it could be an allergy thing. Or could it be heat rash? Or is she getting teeth or something to cause one of those yucky little reaction rashes? Poor thing, I hope it's done soon for her!

my first thought was heat rash too. IS it hot where you are? One of my girls gets little pimple like bumps, but not in clusters...just kind of random.
    Hope oyu find the cause..

Justin has this right now. We think it might be from his suntan lotion that we used this week.

    Does it look like this?

Emma had this rash with a virus back in March. She had it twice. It went away on it's own within a couple of days.

Ashlyn also had a rash breakout caused by a virus that looked like this. As Becky mentioned, it goes away on it's own. However, it was also accompanied by a very high fever for the 3 days preceding it. Ashlyn was very cranky and obviously not herslef when she had this. Hope your little one feels better quickly.
