I feel awful about it but she does not seem in too much pain. She is playing fine and not crying or anything right now. Is there anything you reccomend that I put on the bites? Ice is out of the question as she will not let me hold anything cold on her.

    Thanks,
    Amy

benadryl lotion or some actual benadryl(1/2tsp). My son swells up with just one bite, but my daughter who once had 14 bites from playing hide and seek and hiding on an ant hill, did not swell at all. Hope your DD is like mine!

Not aware of anything to put on the bites but just wanted to say "poor girl."

Lucas got in an ant hill at daycare, and I was scared to death because I'm highly allergic to fire ants (that's why I carry an epi-pen) and I reactive very badly to "regular" ant bites. Poor kid looks like he was bitten by fireants (all swollen with the pustules) but I think he'll be fine.

I just gave some benadryl for the swelling.

Hope she continues to feel better!

My dd decided she wanted to catch the ants and ended up with about 15 bites on both hands and forearms. <_< I put a light layer of benedryl cream on them and gave her a dose of regular benadryl. I hope she feels better fast!
