Lightweight twin umbrella stroller vs. 2 umbrella strollers with connector

Does anyone have any recommendations for an umbrella stroller that is light weight and made for twins? We currently have the Graco Duoglider and are happy with it, but our twins are almost 10 months now and we are looking for a stroller that is lighter and less cumbersome. I have seen the Prince Lion Heart connector for strollers and was wondering if this is a better option. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. [IMG]

We have a SBS Jeep umbrella stroller, it's a good stroller. No storage space though. I don't have any experience with the connectors. [IMG]

The Peg Perego twin aria is a very good lightweight side by side stroller. It's not an umbrella stroller though.

I wouldn't go with a connector. It looks like they are cumbersome, and it doesn't look very easy to fold and unfold the stroller when you go out. It also looks like it doesn't hold the strollers very close together so you fit through doorways. I could be wrong but this is how it looked to me.

Since we bought our two separate umbrella strollers we have not used the duoglider once. I have those connectors, and they work okay. They do space the strollers pretty far apart to make enough room for the wheels to not get tangled in each other. You have to take them off to close the strollers up, but they are pretty easy to pop on and off. It does make it a little hard to turn both strollers when they are connected, but it's not impossible. We have actually only used the connectors a few times, it seems that DH is always with me when we have them in the strollers so we each get one. Overall though I'm not unhappy in anyway that I spent the 10 bucks for the connectors. I like being able to have separate strollers, especially when we make trips somewhere where I can put one in a stroller and one in the shopping cart, or when I am out with just one, like Dr. appts. HTH!!

we just bought the jeep umbrella stroller and i love it. it is very lightweight and it is very easy to fold. it doen't have any storage space, but there are bars underneath them and I am able to put a diaper bag there. i highly recommend it. it isn't bulky, so you don't feel like you are pushing a semi!. We use the inglesina twin shift umbrella stroller. It's the best! We bought it new on ebay and saved about $40.00. It's not so light but it turns so easy and can be pushed with your pinky. We use it traveling and shopping. It has two baskets below the seats.

I bought the Combi Twin Savvy...one sale at Babies R US! I love this stroller. ALOT of space, and the seats both fully recline...something that I was looking for. It pushes VERY easily, and it fits through doorways! It is a GREAT stroller, but the only thing I didn't like about it was the price. Around $200.00 was what we paid with tax. They are listed on Ebay all the time cheaper I think. HTH!

Sometimes the wheels get stuck together with the connectors. Jeep has a twin umbrella that maneuvers better.

This does happen, but our strollers (Chicco's) have a swivel lock on the front wheels that keep them from getting tangled up.

Thanks for the feedback. For those that have used the connectors - do you have to disconnect them to get thru doorways? Also for those that use a single twin umbrella stroller...are any of them NOT side by side?

Probably so, I have only used the connectors when we were outside walking around the neighborhood and trips to the mall, but it makes them pretty wide, so I would think that you would probably have to disconnect them.
