Light Spotting?

Anyone else here experience light brown spotting on a pantiliner for 24 hours? I am 29 weeks w/twin boys and this just started yesterday. Called my OB and they said it must have been from overexertion/being on my feet too much and to take it easy, it would clear up within 48 hours or so. Still, it's disconcerting as everything up to this point has been fine. Anyone else???

 

if it's brown spotting that means it's likely old blood and not something that's currently bleeding - if you've recently had sex or a vaginal exam it is most likely from that, although as your doc said it could be from overexertion. it's definitely very common to have some kind of spotting at some point in your pregnancy. i hope it clears up soon & you can put your mind to rest - it's never nice to see any kind of spotting during pregnancy. :hug:

 

I had the same kind of spotting at 18 weeks. I flipped out and couldnt relax so I drove to the doctor and demanded an u/s. Everything was fine! My spotting was also light brown and I was packing to move out of my house at the current time so my doc attributed it to overexertion as well.

 

Thanks for the reply. It always makes me feel better to hear others have been through these things, too! Cant wait to be on the "other side" of this pregnancy with twins stuff, too, and be able to help others through!

 

Hi! I had spotting yesterday (7 and a half weeks). Doc took urine test and said I had a UTI, which can cause a little blood in it. However I also had been overdoing it - rental inspection, so I think that tends to be a common cause.
