Ok, I thought I would start this thread so that we could vent together! My babes turned 20 months yesterday and are wonderful, great kids most of the time. Let's just say that they have gone on an eating strike and throw EVERYTHING, SPIT milk, and think this is all funny. They can't share, and sometimes they love eachother too much and someone gets hurt ;)

Probably one is teething AGAIN and the other twin just got over a funky virus and is covered in a rash but holy moly, I am pulling at my own hair. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to going to work tomorrow.

Ok, so now you guys share your awesome, exciting adventure stories of your babes at whatever stage they are at :)

Ugh....Chase has been into throwing his food if he doesn't want to eat it lately, too! Drives me crazy!!!

For us- I HATE molars! Hate them! Chase has been working on molars since June and sleep has been horrible since then!! I will be so glad when he is done teething his molars!

The boys are 21 months and we are right in the throwing food, spitting milk, screaming at the top of their lungs for everytng stage. I may go deaf soon.

We are going through the food battles, too. And also having problems with fighting (not sharing, pushing, throwing toys, etc.). And tantrums have started full force when they don't get their way. But they are starting to walk a whole lot more, which is helping some with dealing with things and them being able to tell me what they want more. I keep hoping the screaming when I leave (even for 10 seconds) will wear off. Even that would make life easier!!

The one thing that initially had DH and I scratching our heads when we started the second year was the sudden emergence of tantrums. It just seemed like they started happening overnight. Now, we do have a handle on them but when they first started...DH and I were like

ok, so glad to hear that we are not alone. THese tantrums are FRUSTRATING and I am losing my patience!! They still don't communicate what is wrong and so I have NO clue. Sometimes it's obvious but other times, I honestly just stare at these creatures and they turn red and screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The new things for DD is MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY and no-one else :faint: oh and suddenly DD is REALLY into her paci.... she yells pacciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..... ok, you get my drift :escape:

But honestly, my kids are great and I love 'em lol... :rotflmbo:

thanks for sharing your vents !!! :)

our paradox fun has been trying to remind the twins that they have a sibling and that not everything in the house is theirs. For example, twin A will pick up a pair of shoes. Suddenly, twin B wants nothing else but those shoes - not a different pair of shoes that is exactly the same or one of the other millions of toys or items they own.

We're doing a lot of distration lately and find it amusing that they could "forget" their sister.
