Let the craziness begin!

And I thought this would never happen! This morning right before nap time Isaac started crawling. He has been up on all 4s and scoothing backwards for a while now and just recently started moving his hands. I was really beginning to wonder if we might just skip this stage all together and start walking but after putting away laundry in their closet I turned around and there he was crawling!!!! I am not sure what motivated him, maybe it was his brother pretty much putting him in a headlock earlier. I'm sure that was enough for him to say "ok, I gotta figure this out to get away from this crazy kid!"


Anyway, just wanted to share and to reassure those of you whose kiddos might not be crawling yet that it will happen, and most likely when you are least expecting it!

Yay for crawling!!!
When my girls started crawling it was while I was trying to change them and they were crawling to get to a dirty diaper. LOL, it's so unexpected when they do things like that!

 

Now he is also pushing up to sitting in his crib! I guess we really need to lower the crib mattress now! What a motor filled day!

 

Congrats! My girls are almost 10 and a half months old, and I keep thinking they'll never crawl, though they're doing hands-and-knees kinda a lot now and rolling all over. This was encouraging to me!
