So my baby B has always been the more active baby. I could not only feel his movements, I could see his movements, it was like watching things crawling under my skin. I think I feel baby A a lot less because he is kicking more in my pelvic area, where as baby B was kicking more on my stomach on the left side (kind of below the ribs). It has seemed like the past two days I'm not sure if I'm feeling baby B. It kind of feels like I might be feeling faint kicks/punches, but nothing like I used to. Has anyone experienced a change in the more active baby? I think baby B may be kicking towards my back now instead of my front, but I'm not sure. I have a growth scan on Thursday.

Perhaps he changed positions? I'll be thinking of you on Thursday hoping that you get a good resull from your scan. Cheers J

My Twin B did that to me too. He was just hiding out in my back they said when I went into the hospital. He disappeared on me for over 24 hours. Fortunetly they got him mad enough while i was in the hospital that he reappeared. Now I feel and see him all the time! I hope your scan is good on Thursday! And if in doubt always go and get checked. There is no harm in it!

In my singleton pregnacy, I had a similar experience around 27 weeks. I had regularly been feeling the baby move, and then one day, nothing. I worried all night, and then got up early in the morning and started eating tons of halloween candy to make him move - still nothing. I ended up sitting in my OBs office at 8 am crying because I thought he was dead. They did a NST and said, "see, those are movements!" but I couldn't really feel them. I started feeling him again later that day, and obviously he was fine or I wouldn't be telling you this story :) I would call the doctor if you are concerned though. :aura

If you are concerned and that after drinking some juice you still aren't feeling the baby, call your clinic. They will more than likely check it out. At about that time in my twin pregnancy, I all of a sudden stopped feeling anything. I went in and it turned out they were facing each other, hitting & kicking each other. Guess they started sibling fights early! It never hurts to give your clinic a call.

I felt the same as you. I always thought i felt baby b move more so when i went to the doctor he told me that since i have such a small body frame that it would be hard for me to tell which baby is kicking. I had an ultrasound and they couldnt find baby a but all was well as he was hiding behind his brother so that could be another reason you dont feel one as much as the other. but if you don't think something is right i would get checked because like they say it's better to be safe than sorry.

The same thing happened to me around 28 weeks. It started on Sat. and on Monday I went in to have a u/s done. I had called the DR and told them I wasn't feeling him and they did the u/s immediately. If you are still worried, call the doc. ;) Tricare will cover it! It had turned out that Ryan had just flipped and they were kicking me in the same spot so I was feeling both, it just felt like one.

Good luck, if you're worried call your doc like pp's have said! That's what they're there for. Good luck on Thursday!

That has happened to me before. I eat something sugary (mmmmm...Reese's Peanut Butter Cups) then lie down and wait for it to kick in. Mine have moved around some recently I think because they are kicking in different places than before. Baby A is always fainter - he's head-down on my left side and I feel him mostly in my pelvis; Baby B is usually the more active one and the one I can see body parts moving across my belly. I think A is somewhat behind B.

When I first started feeling the babies, I could feel them equally, if not a little more activity from Baby A. In the last month to six weeks, I've felt Baby A significantly less than B and have mentioned the change at every visit. The babies appear to be sharing a placenta (and are monochorionic) - the placenta is on Baby A's side - my OB said that it is acting as a muffler to the movement. Both babies have shown similar strong movement, size, heart rates, etc. throughout the pregnancy to date.

Shortly after posting this I decided to make some brownies because I was wanting some chocolate. Well apparently baby B likes or dislikes lol chocolate because he is kicking up a storm again. It's back to feeling like I have weird creatures crawling under my skin on that side! Thanks everyone! I had thought I heard that at some point the movement lessens because of less room, is that true?

I always had a hard time feeling Jessy because she was over my belly button head on one side of ribs feet on the other. She also was usign all her energy to grow.
