Ok, I am addicted to TS and have posted some but here goes with my first question! Yay! Last year, while pg DH earned an all-expense, all-inclusive trip for 4 nights/5 days to Cancun through work. Dr. strongly advised against going as I was 26 weeks pg at the time. We skipped the trip and it went to #2 guy. Well, we just found out today he is #1 again and he earned the trip again! WOW! So, now to the question...the boys will be 9.5 months at the time...has anyone else left their kids at that age? How did it go? How did you do? These are our first and I am staying home with them...I am worried about how they will do and how I will do!!!???!!!

You should definitely go! You will miss them but you and your DH deserve the break! They will be fine. They may cry a lot when you go but once you are out the door and they are distracted with toys and the person who is caring for them, they will do fine. We used two PNPs for our guys and made sure someone was there for them when they wake up at night (which can happen when they are not home).

    Have a great time!

PS- Glad you decided to post a question! :)

You should go - they are so young, they won't even realize it. We left our 1 year girls and 3 1/2 year old son last month for a 5 day cruise to Bermuda and the kids didn't even blink any eye at us being gone.

I thought I would miss them terribly but it was nice to get away and sleep in.

Don't feel quilty about going, you need your time with your husband. it will make you better parents.

We went for the weekend to New York, It was nice to be able to do whatever you wanted whenever. I did miss them terribly and my husband and I talked about them the entire time. But I would go.
