for the past week or so my sons have had trouble with their diapers leaking. i dont think i wait too long in between changing, either. they are always changed before each feeding (every 3 hours at this point) but sometimes their diapers still leak.

it might be time to go up a size.. or maybe experiment with a new brand. i used swaddlers at that age and never had any problems with leaking.

in an earlier post today someone mentioned making sure their "penii" [IMG] are pointing straight down and not up or off to the side.. that may help too.

they still wear newborn. when i put the size 1 on them they are huge.
one baby is 7 lbs and the other 8.

I'm going to second checking that their "parts" are pointing down. Mine would leak out the top when diapers weren't on tight enough. Also since Size 1 is too big you can still use them, but fold the top down. They did this with our boys and preemie diapers in the NICU.

I was going to say the same. Check that their penis is pointing down instead of sideways, if that doesn't work, might be time to go up a size in diapers or try a different brand.

should i just finish up my newborn pack and then head up to 1's?

any diaper suggestions? we use swaddler sensitive.

I used whatever was on sale. Finish up the newborn sizes and see how things are going. If you see size 1 on sale, pick some up!

Yep, point the pecker down and go up a size if that doesn't work.

Make sure the diaper is pulled out around their legs and pulled tight. I know mine would leak sometimes if I didn't pull out the ruffle part.
