I bought some of the Nuby soft spouts. They have a clear top and then a colored cup. I am having some leaking issues. Am I not tightening them enough...too much?

Does anyone else use these sippy cups and if so have you had the same problem?

I swear every sippy cup leaked for me except the PlayTex ones... and honestly Nuby's were the worst for me- I hated them. Be sure the lid is not too tight and make sure the nipple/spout part is lined up correctly.

    Good luck!

I don't like sippy cups! They all leak, some worse than others. The Nuby cups do have little lines on the plastic that have to be lined up with the indents in the spouts, like Nicole said.

I try to line up those stupid things - but as I tighten the lid they move out of the little notch. Grrr...

Emma uses the straw sippy - it doesn't leak as bad but what a pain to clean! I was hoping the nuby would work for Mia because it is so easy to clean.

We used the Nuby sippies very briefly when they were first introduced to cups. It seemed like the easiest kind for them to learn how to use a cup. But we quickly got rid of them because of the spill factor. I agree too that the only ones that don't leak are the Playtex ones.

I had a lot of trouble with the Nuby cups too. I love playtex cups!

I prefer Platex or the Gerber soft sippy cups! I absolutely hate the Nubys. They leak for me too.

I have the same Nuby cups and had the same experience with them. It seemed no matter what I did, they leaked. We don't use them anymore. I recently bought some sippy cups at Walmart also made by Nuby but they look more like regular sippy cups (have a hard spout instead of a soft one). They also have a valve inside to adjust the flow from slow to fast. So far they haven't leaked! And the best part is they were only $.97!! I am going buy more next time I'm at Walmart.
