Leaking fluid?

If any of you ladies were leaking fluid, how did you know? I have been having ALOT of discharge lately, and sometimes it's watery and doesn't smell like urine...like this morning, i was changing my daughter and i thought i peed in my pants when i stood up...and it was discharge and water...but didn't smell like urine...should I call my DR?

I would probably call, just to be safe.

 

I would call your OB - it is very possible that it is nothing, but I think it is better to be safe. My sister started leaking fluid at 25 weeks and did end up delivering my nephew as a result. Thank goodness after a 3 mth stay in the NICU and 2 years later he is a happy little boy, but you have to really watch yourself.

Always call and check with your OB but it could be just leaked urine or cervical fluid. Around the 23-25 week mark, a lot of women have a shift in hormones that causes more "wetness." I did and went in and got checked but it wasn't amniotic fluid fortunately, but always err on the side of calling your doc.
