Leakage

    Hello Ladies- So, I'm at 14 w 4 d and have had embarassingly "damp" undies lately... not soaked or anything, just damp...and I assumed that I've just been leaking urine since I always have to go... but last night for some reason I started to freak out about whether it might be amniotic fluid. Is there any way to tell?

    Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure someone else asked this and I recall the reply was if it has an odor, it's urine. I don't believe it would smell if it was amniotic fluid.

    Anyone wanna confirm this??

    Thank you! I just searched for the previous post and found it....! I think mine is just the regular pregnancy related leakage... yuck... :laughing:

    I have had the same thing all throughout and it has freaked me out too. Your ob can do a swap if you are concerned.

    Yep, same thing here. Oh the joys of a twin pregnancy. lol..heaven help me if i should be in public and sneeze real hard though. <_<

    yep, if it has an odor it is not amniotic fluid. I have been using pantiliners regularly since week 15. Fun.

    That has to be a twin thing I have just turned 24 weeks and now I can do the smallest thing (sneeze, laugh, cough) and I feel myself getting wet!!

    I leaked the whole 2nd half of my pregnancy :nea: YUCK & irritating!
    Luckily it went away after the babies were born!! :good:
