Laughing at Myself

So, feeding bkfst is always a bit challenging; they're whining and want to be w/me but are in the 'corral', are they hungry or are we going to spend half an hour in the high chair w/me trying to keep them from feeding the dog? So pulling out the three containers of yogurt, fruit and cereal and going to the other side of the kitchen to get a bowl.....seems ot be a LOT of steps w/two whiny 12 month olds.

As I was just packing the leftover bkfst to take for a snack later, It only JUST occured to me that i could, um, MIX A WHOLE BATCH OF BKFST and feed it to them for several days running. Or alternate.

OK, I'm attributing this to tiredness, NOT permanent brain cell loss from having twinfants!

 

I keep figuring out new ways to try and make things easier ( and sometimes harder unfortunately) every day here, too. One of these days we'll have it figured all out! Maybe by the time they go off to college? :laughing:

DH does breakfast around here. He puts the girls in high chairs with sippies and cheerios. That way while he is making their breakfast they are have enjoying their 'cheerio course' of the meal. It has seriously decreased the amount of whining that occurs in the morning!
