Latest and last Dr app

OMGOSH Will this EVER END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :angry: :angry: :angry:

Had my last Dr app this morning before I am induced next monday. He did an internal and said that she is engaged and that I am not dilated but it is thin. He didn't go into great detail other than to say I could go into labour at any time and that I would not need pitocin when I come in on monday, they will just break my waters. (whatever, can we just hurry it up already)

This is torture.

Now I am spotting a bit but I read in my book that can just be from an irritated cervix. Obviously it has nothing to do with going into labour because my body seems COMPLETELY INCAPABLE of doing that on it's own. You think it would recognize I am about to explode and do something about it.

Cant seem to keep my spirits up. Life has lost it's fun at this point and I lost my sense of humour long ago. I'm not even excited, just want them OUT.

And what is with people saying to me like My Mum and my BF and others 'When you are sitting at the table like that and I cant see your belly, you dont even look pregnant' 'From behind, you dont even look pregnant' :huh:
NO KIDDING!!!
Seeing as the primary external symptom of pregnancy is an enlarged abdomen, when you cant see it, I'm guessing you cant tell ANYONE is pregnant.
Anyone understand this?
Or getting the same thing?

u poor thing not much longer, im sure ur will have beautiful healthy babies though making as long as u have. i dont have any advise, but i am so happy for u that u made it to 37wks i know u think its ****, im just trying to make it to my 24wk milestone. good luck and cant wait to hear the birth story and see those beautiful babies!! :hug99:

:hug99: I am so hearing you at the moment. Supposedly on Thursday, I was in early labor. And it just stalled. Now I'm having lots of contractions, but nothing that seems strong enough or regular enough to do anything. Bah!!

You are almost there. What a relief. The bleeding is from the internal exam--very common. And take the whole "You don't look pregnant" as a HUGE HUGE compliment. I was a big, puffy balloon when pregnant. It was very obvious that I looked different, from ALL ANGLES! It could be worse, people could be telling you that you look huge.

 

I agree that the "you don't look pregnant" thing is just saying that you haven't put weight on anywhere else but in your belly. It's a good thing!
