Okay, so for some reason there are several people that I work with...and not in the same department, just have seen them passing by in the halls....have been asking me if I'm done after these two?!?!?!? Umm last time I checked, my reproductive schedule/life was none of your concern! That question makes me feel so awkward....lol...because then they probably think about my sex life..and I am NOT trying to go there with them!

For those that don't know...I have two little girls now, ages 4 and 1!

Yes, I have gotten that one! <_< I don't like it either. I guess it's just curiosity, but still, why do they care? I'm interested to see if anybody has any good comebacks because I'm gonna need them when I announce this pregnancy. :D

For some reason people think that twins are the 'end all' to having children. Those who don't know me well were shocked when I said I was having a 3rd. It's like having more than 2 children (especially 2 at once) is just CRAZY! I would take it witha grain of salt :)

Yes, once people found out I was having a boy and a girl, everyone assumed it was the 'perfect' family. NOT! It's just the way society seems to be now days.. two kids and your done. People don't understand 'big' families now days.

Oh yea, I get comments all the time when I am out with Emilie and Trevor, that I got a boy and girl so I have the perfect family now and don't have to have any more kids. Sometimes I do say they have a big sister.

You are right, it is no one's business at all how many kids you have. You should just tell them you want to have triplets after this pregnancy. :D

I really hate that question and I agree, it's none of their business!

Ugh...nothing annoys me more than that. We have four boys now and the looks and comments I get when it comes up just floor me! Why do people assume that they get some sort of say in your family planning?

I haven't had that comment yet. People have said that we should have another because we are having two girls. I have a 4 year old son but these are DH's first kids. He is perfectly content with our family. So we are getting the assumption the opposite way. Instead of being done- we should be trying for a boy

Yeah, my DH and I get the same comment and these are our first. Sometimes I think people just make small talk b/c so many of the questions are the same: how far along are you? Is it a boy or girl, etc. etc. Weird that so many people ask all the same questions.

    LOL........I get both comments!!!!!

I have all boys (7 to be exact) and everyone asks us if we are done, when I say no, we would love more.......they say are you going to try for a girl (you should have heard EVERYONE when we told them that we were expecting again.......and NO we were not trying for a girl, we were trying for a baby (how do you TRY for a girl anyway?!?!?!).

My comment to them is "since when does your opinion matter?" or another good one is "today you brought up my sex life, when is a good time to talk about yours"......LOL.............PEOPLE DON'T THINK!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I get the assumption as well, because these are my first children and we are having a boy and a girl people assume that's the perfect family and we are done. Fact is, I dont even know what it's like to have children of my own yet, so I have no idea whether I will want more.
I just smile and dont say anything - none of their business. People just like to hear the sound of their own voice. lol.

I hate that question too and they love to ask did you get your tubes tied. What's it to you? If I do have more kids you don't have to take care of them!!
