Last minute party!

It is bad when you feel like you have cabin fever in the summer!!

I have been pretty much going nuts...time is really starting to drag!

Yesterday though, my mom was coming over to go swimming....I told her we would have a cook-out. She brought my niece and my sis and her BF were coming a little later (my sis cuts our hair). I talked to my mom in the morning and she said that she was picking up my cousin to come swim (his parents are on vaca). Then his sister and her BF were going to come too. When DH went to go pick up my cousin, his sister called (not DH's) and said she was bringing him and they were coming to swim too. So her and her DH came too. Then they had invited her DH's cousin and wife to go swimming at her parents house but decided to come to ours...so she asked if they could come...sure!! Then my older sis and family came! We had a houseful and a poolful!!. We made burgers, dogs, brats, corn-on-the-cob, had chips and pickles.

It was sooo last minute that I didn't even get a chance to clean parts of my house! But I loved it and needed it. It was so nice to have the company here and break up the dragging of the day. Everyone was gone (besides my younger sis) by 7:30 too so not so late.

Oh that sounds wonderful.... it's nice to have company. I hope they cleaned up before they left. lol

I love it when parties come together like that. You get all the enjoyment but none of the stress! I'm so happy for you.
