I am soooo excited... today is my last day on complete bedrest. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

It started at 25 weeks due to my shortened cervix and irritable uterus. I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and all meds/restrictions are lifted.

I will hardly be able to do anything, because I am super weak and the boys are crushing my lungs. But I've been horizontal in bed this entire time, and I can't wait to go downstairs, be with my family, and SIT UP!

At my last OB appointment, I was already dilated 3-4 cm with Twin A's bag of waters sitting right on my cervix. So I'm guessing it won't be long until they arrive. But it's been such an emotional bedrest, worrying about how long they'd stay in... I am trilled to even have made it this far.

    HOORAY!

AWESOME!!! Congratulations!! What a great feeling that will be! I've been on bedrest for 9 weeks now, but it's modified so I can be downstairs and sitting up. I can't imagine how hard it would be having to stay horizontal the entire time. You did a great job!!

Thanks for being excited for me!!! I am just dying to know when these kiddos will come. It's like the jeopardy theme is constantly playing in my head. And it feels like Christmas Eve... I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight, in anticipation of getting off bedrest tomorrow and possibly meeting the boys very soon!

My birth story won't be that interesting... after much soul-searching I decided not to attempt a VBAC with twins. Which will probably be good anyway because my OB is the only one in the practice who would have been willing to do one, and she's off the entire week coming up. Oh well, sunroof it is.
