Just curious how everyone felt the day before they went into labor...any symptoms/warning signs? Did you feel different in anyway?

One of my friends told me that she felt sick/nauseated the day before. I have been feeling like that for about 2 days (and I think I just have a virus or something). Did anyone else feel like that?

I really didn't feel any different the day before either my daughter's birth ot the twins. In both cases though I had a feeling it was going to happen that day. With my daughter, she was due 3/28 and from the time I was told the due date I was certain she would be an April Fool's baby & she was! :p Of course I went into Labor on Tuesday @ about 6:30pm and had her on Thursday @ 12:18 am!!! However, I felt a little like I was going to go into labor that Tuesday and called out sick from work that morning.

With the twins I felt a little more tired and irritable that day, and when my husband got home from work that day @ 6pm he looked at me and said so are they coming today? I said maybe, and he got really nervous. Either way we ate dinner around 7pm and at 7:30 I started feeling that I might be in labor! ;) The labor was 100% different with the twins than with my daughter. Low in the pelvis rather than high and all over like with my daughter so when I called the doctor I told her that I wasn't sure if it was labor... She of course told me to see if the pain I was having was coming and going, and if it was to call back when they were about 5 minutes apart since it would tak an hour to get to the hospital. By the time I figured out they were contractions it was an hour later and they were only 3 minutes apart! My husband had to take my daughter to my MIL's house and the minute they walked out the door I got up to go to the bathroom and get ready to go, and the second I stood up my water broke! When I called the doctor to let her know she said that if I felt like I wasn't going to make it to the hospital there was another on the way to that one and to just go there...   Well, to spite the fact my husband took a wrong turn on the way to the hospital we made it in time!!! Our boys were born @ 1:45 & 1:46 the next morning!

Good luck to you!!! I hope your labor is a little less eventful... although the idea that we were not sure we could make it t the hospital makes for a great story!!!

I didnt' feel sick at all the day before I had TJ. Well, the day before I went into labor, that is. I went to see my OB on
Monday and she "stretched" my cervix. I was crampy and had bloody show but that was expected with the stretching. She said we would go ahead and induce becuase I was right at 40w and 3cm dilated. I actually started having contractions 2m apart before I was induced and DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT! I had NO clue! So, other than feeling a little crampy, I felt fine.

Some signs for me that day:

    1) Loose stools
    2) Menstrual-ike cramping
    3) Excessive discharge (for a good week though)
    4) Excessive, irregular, non-painful BH contractions that did not go away with my meds I was currently on

POOPING! I had Olive Garden the night before, so I just thought it was the salad, but my SIL kept saying that she thought it was me going into labor.

That night, I got up to go to the bathroom and felt a "pop", but I didn't know what it was. I went back to bed and an hour later GUSH with Baby A's sac breaking.
