Kudos to this website

Thanks to everyone on this website -- you have all been wonderful. I just wanted to say that having your first baby -- and in my case and some others as well my first BABIES -- this website has been wonderful and has brought me a lot of reassurance. I know I post a lot about naps, but I guess it's because I need the reassurance that I'm doing the right thing, and that the babies will be able to tolerate more awake time eventually and that I need to just go with the flow for now. I don't want to wish these infant days away, but I'm looking forward to those days when the babies are toddlers (or maybe even 1 1/2 years old) and able to spend more time up with me during the day and I don't have to worry about fussiness and naps (as much).

All of you mom's have been WONDERFUL and you are all making me feel better...and bear with me about all of my questions.

Thank you, it's our goal to do this because we have all been there trust me. My twins are my first and only children and I can remember leaving the hospital thinking that someone made a grave mistake letting us go with babies. I felt like I knew nothing about childcare. This website had been a sanity saver for me and the ideas I have received here I have been quick to pass on to others. Kudos to all of our Moms and Dads here!!!

ITA! So many times I think of questions I want to post and someone beats me to it that day!
I'm just glad I'm not a mom with no common sense, that other moms have these same questions. Whew!

 

I totally agree! No one I know has had twins and all the advice I get from friends is great if you have one newborn but not for two. I found this website when I was pregnant and I am so glad I did. It has made me feel so much better about some of the decisions I have made for convenience sake, like propping bottles etc and feeling okay about doing that.

I agree, this website has been WONDERFUL! I just told a friend IRL who was shocked that I seemed (to her anyway) so relaxed with how I was handling two babies when she struggles so much with her singleton that this site is the reason I stay relatively sane. When I feel like I'm clueless or screwing it all up, I come on and read or post and you guys always make me feel like we're doing okay! My DH even likes how much more confidence it gives me in my decisions...when I start talking to him about how to handle something that's worrying me, he asks if I posted about it here yet!!
