Kraft Mac n Cheese

Anybody else's kids addicted to this stuff? It's the one with the powder cheese.

I swear that mine will split an entire box and eat it so fast that they aren't even chewing. I think it just slides down their throats! I let them eat it twice a week and that's it. DS freaks out when he sees it on the plate before we serve it to him. He knows what it is.

What on earth is in it that they LOVE????

We have the same thing going on over here. They also do not chew....LOL

 

Mine are nuts about Velveeta shells and cheese...haven't tried Kraft yet.

 

Mine LOVE Mac and Cheese too. My DH makes a great homemade mac and cheese that's really not that hard to do. The other day we had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's and ordered them mac and cheese, and when it came, they were screaming MAC AND CHEESE!! Everyone was looking, it was cute and embarrassing at the same time.

Mine also love mac and cheese. 9 times out of ten if we're out and they order a kids meal it's mac and cheese. I have to say I also prefer good old Kraft over the other brands too.

 

Same here! I was just telling my husband last night about how fast the kids were eating it last night; was very cute and absolutely amazing. Nikki would shove a handful in and then say, "More?" with her mouth full and a pile still on her plate

 

Mine love it too - but I have to confess, so do I! I'm sure everyone will think this is disgusting, but I like it better "leftover" the next day. Before babies, I used to make a couple boxes and put it in the fridge to eat the next day. Everyone thinks that is so nasty. But I think it's yummy! lol.

 

Yep, we're Kraft people here too. My oldest DD is so bad about it she used to not eat mac and cheese if it wasn't Kraft. I'll never forget when we were at Myrtle Beach when she was 3 we went to dinner out Outback and she wanted mac and cheese. They brought it and it was different noodles and she had a fit and would not believe us that it really was mac and cheese, she kept saying it wasn't and I know it's because it wasn't Kraft. :laughing: She's gotten better about it since she's older now, but I will never forget that.

 

OMG my girls are in LOVE mac and cheese. I started cutting up a veggie dog in it so it was little more healthy.

 

my kids like it too but they DON'T like Kraft - they actually prefer one of the store brands (Wegmans)...guess cuz thats what I got them started on

I also laughed when I read the title to your post. My girls at 1-2 scarfed it down too. They still love it and I add ALOt of frozen peas to it now and they love it even more.

 

I only bought it once and... how unnaturally orange is it?? And it doesn't taste like Mac (well maybe, just maybe I overcooked it), it doesn't taste like Cheese... what is in there?? I prefer to make my kids Mac and Cheese myself, but Ollie doesn't like cheese anymore and I only make one dish for both. So anything with cheese is off the table.

My girls love boxed mac n cheese too! They aren't picky about what brand it is as long as it is nice and unnaturally orange and isn't some kind of different shaped noodle, but they will not eat "real" mac n cheese at all. If it doesn't come out of a box with powdered cheese, isn't orange, and isn't teeny tube shaped, they won't touch it.

 

I actually hadn't thought about giving them mac and cheese. I'll have to try it!! DH and I are big Kraft mac and cheese fans. I swear I lived off that stuff in college, but I still love it! I add some steamed broccoli to mine, that has to make it a little healthier!!
