Kinda scared

Okay ladies heres the deal I am 34 w 4 days and my pregnancy has gone much better than any of my doctors thought it would i have had no problems so far until now ! but... my blood pressure has started going up and my feet are staying swollen all the time no matter what the reason this scares me is my ds was born at 35 w 5 d due to a really bad case of pre-eclampsia .. and he was very very sick he spent almost 2 weeks on a vent at the denver childrens hospital and i don't want to go threw this again even though there was no way of telling why my son was so sick at 35 weeks .. I need some words of support please help !!!

 

I'm sorry your DS was so sick after he was born. :hug: I just know there are so many success stories here at TS of babies born earlier than 35w, please try to keep that in mind. I know success stories really helped me and gave me so much hope and that is what I needed, while mine were in the NICU. Hang in there. :hug:

It sounds as if you have done great so far which is wonderful!!
When is your next Dr. appt? What have they said about the swollen feet/high BP?

Don't worry...you know, worrying sends your BP up...like someone else said, look at all the success stories! :hug:

 

I am so sorry you are worried! It sounds like your pg has gone soo well. I hope your pg continues to go smooth. My girf friend had severe swelling and no pre-clamp- and everything turned out okay. . . I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!!!!
