It's Daddy Day today (mommy's at work).

DH just called to tell me that Joe just had a violent episode of vomiting (incredible quantity).

He was fine this morning. DH even took them out to the park and he seemed fine until lunch was served.

DH admited that shortly after I left he found both kids munching on cat food.

I really hope it was the cat food and that he's not getting sick.

I am sorry that my little guy threw up, but I am slightly enjoying the thought of DH having to clean up the mess. That's terrible of me b/c he didn't get home until 11pm last night and is dealing with the kids ALL day today.

Aw, poor little guy. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the cat food, and I really hope that's all it was.

And you're not the only one who feels that way. I can remember being sick about 6 months ago and being gleeful when the girls called for Daddy to wipe them. Heh heh.

 Gotta love it when they HAVE to deal with it! Sorry he's sick, though. Hope it was just the cat food.

I'm sorry to say that I doubt it was the cat food. Our boys eat plenty of cat and dog food and have yet to get sick from it. There are several fun stomach bugs going around and we had the vomit one recently. Not fun at all. Hope they're better soon! (and that he kisses your feet when you get home)

Can I just tell you that the title of this thread made me laugh! The 'could it have been the cat food'!

Bea ate cat food at 8 months (cat food promptly went behind the gate) and didn't get sick. My DH got ONE poop-up-the-back diaper when they were infants and still talks about it like it was the most traumatic thing he ever dealt with. A couple months ago when they had a bug and Bea woke up with poop everywhere, he ran out of the room! At least he did get up with me and put the clean sheets on the crib.

    Men are soooo delicate.

Hmmm...upon arriving home, Gma was called in for reinforcement and apparently arrived well before any vomiting started....so guess who cleaned up while daddy fed the 'other one'....

depends on the cat food - and the kid....DS has thrown up from cat food and DD has not...of course the cat food was this nasty, oily "Sensitive Stomach" we needed for our one cat :bad:
