Kids say the darndest things

I read a post from dfault and thought we could probably all share something funny our children have said, or if they are just starting to talk, their funny mispronunciations.

My 4 yr old put on his spider man mask thismorning (before brushing his teeth). So, he's wearing it for a while and says "Mom, it smells like poop inside my mask" I cracked up and told him, "That means your breath stinks". He says "My breath NEVER stinks" ...I tell him, yes it does, when you dont brush your teeth, thats why your mask smells like poop. He says "No, mom, it smells like REAL poop, like dog poop, right on my nose! Im about to throw up!" I was laughing so hard I was crying. I told him to take the mask off if it stunk so bad, but he didnt. I guess it wasnt that bad. lol

OK, here's a kind of embarrassing one. I was looking for bunny videos for the kids to look at on Youtube, and saw a little thumbnail for The Rabbit Song. I thought, Oh, that looks cute, and hit play. I'd better warn you right now that it is NOT suitable for children, but I couldn't hit stop in time. So they watched it, and here was DD's commentary:

"Two!" (guess which part)

"Swing!" (at the end)

Bad mommy award for letting them see that! :blush: But I'm still laughing at DD's innocent take on it.

 

I think the funniest thing my boys say is- when I know one has a dirty diaper- I ask if Jack does and he says "NO! Paul - Paul stinky- not Jack!!!" and then I look at Paul and he says "NO- Jack stinky!" and they both run away from me and giggle.!!!
Normally only one needs a new diaper- so one is telling the truth and one is fibbing!!
