Has anyone bought child-sized chairs for their toddlers? Did your kids enjoy having comfy chairs that fit them? I always see the kid chairs advertised at Pottery Barn and think I'd like to get them, but I don't know if it would be a waste. Any advice is appreciated!

    Here's a link to the chair I'm considering: http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/k3...key=cfrnrck%7Cb

Definately not a waste in this house! My two LOVE their chairs!! And they are comfy! :winking0009: My only suggestion would be to not get the "my first anywhere chair" because it is quite small. The regular "anywhere" chair is a bit bigger, and will grow with them. My two like to lay down "in" them. So cute and so worth the money! :good:

We have one from when my oldest DD was little and it has always been a big hit! Emilie and Trevor each have a pull out sofa.

My boys got the Pottery Barn chairs for Christmas and so far they are a hit! They will sit in them and watch Disney while eating in the mornings. They also like to flip them over and play with them. :)

My DD's have chairs my uncle/godfather made them. But they just had some chairs like the Pottery Barn style on sale at Target a few weeks ago.

My girls love having their own chairs.

I saw those too. They really aren't as comfy as the PB ones, and a bit smaller.

I agree with PP. Don't get the smallest chair. We bought the larger one and they like them, except right now they would rather one of us sit in the chair and hold them. We bought them when they were about a year old. Our girls don't sit still too long for anything, so they usually just play on them or sit for a few seconds, but I think they like them.

We have a pull-out sofa also. It's a big hit.

I got the boys kid-sized patio chairs for Easter (so they will stay off of ours, a hobby that is SURE to land them in the ER soon)

Same for us per above too, it is a big hit in our house with PBK "Anywhere" chair.

I went the cheaper route THIS weekend and got them the chairs from Walmart. $20 bucks each and well worth the $ already!! My girls love love their new chairs! they can move them around and love to turn them over and dive into them. It's the only thing that has held their attention for more than a day. They are just a foam with pink princess covering. They had Dora to choose from and I've seen Pooh ones in the past - many others too - but the day I went they only had princess ones that were more than one in stock - heaven forbid I get 2 different ones - something else to fight over.... These chairs will last them atleast until next Christmas I'm guessing. Big hit in my house!

I got a mini-lazy boy recliner at a twin sale for $20. My kids do sit in it quite a lot.

We just got two upholstered chairs for the girls -- they are like the Pottery Barn ones except instead of just foam, they have a real wood frame. I hated the idea of paying so much for something that's just made of foam, even though kids seem to love them.

    We got these:

It seems to be a very small business (maybe just one woman). I actually got her email address through the "contact the seller" link on Amazon, and emailed her directly, and she gave me a discount ($40 each) since I wanted two chairs. They took a few weeks to arrive, but they showed up last week and we really like them. They seem very solid and well-made. We opted not to personalize so that we could hand them down or resell, but the personalization is free if you want it.

We have a similar one, but it's a rocking style. Mine LOVE it, but most of the time they turn it upside down & jump off of it.

I have 3 regular anywhere chairs ... I wouldn't buy the "first" ones, too small. Waste of money. I bought new inserts (but not made by PBK) on eBay, much cheaper and works just as well. Brought the price down to about $55 a chair instead of $100. We have hot pink, light pink and sky blue!

I need to replace the light pink cover from my oldest ... maybe the polka dot!

We got two from Target..they are light pink and we got their names monogrammed on it My girls LOVE them. I wanted the PB ones, but that was just way too much money for us.
