 Luckily I caught them in time! It got too quiet. I was sitting here at the computer typing my English paper when I noticed the two boys had gotten awfully quiet in the playroom. I didn't want to leave my train of thought so I kept typing. A few minutes pass and it's still too quiet. I always try to sneak up on them when that happens and what I do find? The two of them with dh's keys trying to pry the outlet cover off!!! :umm: I took the keys and made them come out of the playroom for now. I had an incident as a kid where I was holding on to our neighbor's dog while I stuck a key in an outlet. I guess they come by it honestly... :pardon: I'm just glad I got there before the cover came out.

I'm going to tell my DH this story when he says for the thousandth time "Why do we need those covers? Their fingers can't fit in there!" Glad everything was ok.

Their fingers can't but lots of things they get hold of can! When my aunt was little (back in the early 60s) she had shoes with metal tips on the laces. She used to chew on them. Well, one day she was chewing on them sitting by the wall and noticed the slots in the outlet were about the same size. Yep. She did it. Stuck both of them in there and created a nice circuit! Ouch!
