Twice over the course of the past 3 days, John has pulled his pants off and also his diaper during afternoon rest time. The first time, the diaper was poopy :bad: but thankfully didn't get everywhere. Today, he was just wet...standing there in all of his 13-month old glory.

Any tips for those who have BTDT????

    TIA!

Its a phase, and a real annoying one! I would just keep putting it back on him (thats what I did) and soon he will get it. I have also heard to put on a sleeper/sleep sack so they can't get to the diaper.

i've heard onesies, duct tape, and putting on the diapers backwards work, too. or the sleep sack backwards so they cant get to the zipper.

    ally's a stripper too :D

I think using a sleep sack or onesie is a good idea!

I use sleep sacks and probably will until next Summer, just for that reason, lol.

I had to use duck tape for a few months with one of mine. Just long enough to go over both tabs. It was kind of funny to watch him try to take it off the first time I used it!

My two still wear sleep sacks. I also keep them in onesies most of the time to avoid diaper pull offs at night time/nap time. Good luck!

duct tape????? You all are cruel. :) One of mine did this a few times and I just put onesies on her plus pants. Makes it VERY difficult for them. It will pass though.

I just put onsise on and also you can try putting their button up/zip up jammies on backward so that they can't get to it. It is a bit of a struggle to get them on at night , but once their on THEIR ON!!! :) AND, they will be on in the morning!! :yahoo:

  13. With my oldest, this started when she was about 15 months. First we tried the onesies, she figured out how to unsnap the crotch. Then we tried using a diaper pin on the crotch, she figured out how to wiggle her way out of the onesie through the neck. Then we tried using a diaper pin on the disposable diaper to keep the tabs together. This lasted about a week, then the little smarty pants figured out how to undo the pins!! The only thing that worked was the duct tape, but we had to go all the way around her waist and flip it over at the end so the sticky sides were together otherwise she would just peel it off. Fast forward 2 years, Joey is now 19 months and has started doing this. My husband and I decided not to mess around and just went straight for the duct tape. IT DIDN"T WORK!!. Joey is pulling the diaper down in front and would actually still have the tabs and duct tape around his waist, but the diaper would be hanging down in the back. We are using the diaper pin and so far it is working. Thankfully Kassie has not yet tried this, but I realize that she will soon.

My two will be 2 next month and we are dealing with this, ive done the onesies, and they figured out they can un button them, or even just reach inside it from the sides and unlatch the diapers. Its getting crazy. I have this week started putting the footed night sleepers on backwards ( i cut the feet off) and this way they cant reach the zipper--or atleast havnt figured out how to get out of it yet.
