Keep my grandson in your prayers

    Happy Holidays everyone!
    My dear grandson Corey was admitted to the hospital today for respitory distress. This morning he started wheezing and couldn't seem to catch his breath. Steph and I took him to the ER while SIL stayed home with Cameron..
    Corey was pretty sick when we got there and they immediately admitted him.. They did 3 albuterol treatments which helped the breathing but then increased his heartrate pretty high. They thought about putting him in a tent but his O2 levels seemed to stay right around 99% so he is in a regular ped room. Bless his sweet little heart, he is this little tiny 7.14 pound baby in a HUGE crib.. anyway I am sure he will be fine but it's certainly not where we would have expected one of the babies to be for Chrismas..

    Oh I am soo sorry to hear about Corey! I hope he continues to improve. All of you are in my thoughts. Please let Steph know we are thinking of her!

    [​IMG] I'm so sorry you all are having to spend his first Christmas in the hospital. I'm glad he's doing well though and I hope he comes home soon.

    Aw, I'm sorry to hear Corey is sick - it's hard to be in the hospital on Christmas!
