Karmen & Kiera are here, born 8-6-09 weighing 5lbs 4 ozs each. Momma and babies had to be sent out to a bigger hospital via helicopter because 35 weeks 3 days was too soon for local hospital. My water broke around 2 am and I'm sure very large pasta dinner helped that happen. It wasn't a big gush but lots of little gushes. We live in the desert and it was 115 degrees that day I was in for my normal NST and was having regular contractions (as I had been for weeks) and they wanted to give me another TERB shot, I hate the shakes they give me, so I asked if I could drink lots of water and see if that helped, after an hour it didn't, I went home- lo and behold, by sunrise I was at Good Sam and by 930am they came out, Vaginally, second baby was breech and the very image of those little feet and butt sticking out of me is something I'll never forget! The latter half of my pregnancy I started having gall bladder attacks, almost 20 and the pain they caused I assumed labor wouldn't be so bad. Well, I did have a fast labor and that helped BUT I'm still not sure why I didn't take the epidural. I think I thought that no pain could be that bad after the pain of an attack. Also, epidurals like my experience with the first pregn was that it took so much longer and not being able to feel my legs was pointless when told to Push! SO, I went al natural, and let me tell you it was so painful and amazing that i actually was in one piece after that, I can't believe you can survive that kind of pain. And two weeks later already start to lose the memory of it. Karmen, Breech baby stayed in the NICU for 6 days, my DH stayed every night with her, brought my BM to her. Kiera, First baby and I stayed at the nearby Ronald McDonald house, so nice!!! We are all home and i'm nursing them and i can hardly speak or think I"m so tired. I can't believe it's all over and I sit here wishing I would of slept more while I had the time. Hahah! Last but not least I'll give this piece of advice, Take it easy with your body and yourself!!! It's possible to survive twin pregnancies, pain med free labor, and to love two seperate little people so so very much!!! Good Luck!!
:clapping: Way to go Momma! I'm glad everyone is home now and doing well.  Congratulations!!
