Kaeda and Ember have arrived!

    My water broke this morning at 4am and the girls arrived by c-section a few hours later

    Kaeda Skye was born at 8:34am weighing 3 lbs 13 oz and 15.5 inches
    Kaeda
    Kaeda Again

    Ember Rayne arrived 2 minutes later at 8:36am weighing 5 lbs 4 oz and 17.5 inches
    Ember
    Ember again

    Both girls initially cried and had apgar scores of 8/9 but then both girls needed some help with respiratory and were placed on CPAP. Kaeda has since been taken off the CPAP and put on nasal canula with room air only and Ember is slowly being weaned down off of the amount of pressure they are giving her.

    Nice job Mamma. May your hospital stay be smooth, your sleep tonight restful and you all get to go home soon.

    **So happy you get to move on into the next forum...but I will miss your updates and pictures**.

    Congratulations!!! and good luck with everything. I hope they won't be in the NICU for too long and please keep us posted when you have a chance. I hope you recover easily also. Very cute names :).
