Just when I thought it was all over with

Last Friday night we had to take him to the ER because he was complaining with his ear. He had an ear infection and swollen tonsils. Well, I gave him his meds, and he was all better. Today I have noticed he has been a little feverish... I took his temp just a while ago and it is 102 F. He is so mad at me, because I took it rectal. He keeps pointing his finger at me and saying 'Mean mommy' I feel so bad, but that is the most accurate way to get a reading...

After motrin and tylenol all last night, his fever has gone away. Hopefully it will stay that way!

 

Glad to hear he is feeling better! But keep checking his temp though as they usually seem better in the morning but can go up by early afternoon. josh would do that when I thought he was all better.

Kudos to you for getting your 2 yr old to sit still for a rectal temp My boys hate the ear therm and Josh has a terrible time keeping his nebulizer on for 7 minutes!!! B)
