    I am 5 weeks, so still very early! My period was late and I have been feeling very rundown so we thought we would just take a test to rule pregnancy out! We are shocked!! I had artificial insemination with the boys and was told that we would have a less than 5% chance of conceiving on our own because of DH's low sperm count. We are beyond excited!!

    Congrats!!!! My husband was also told that he has a low sperm count and low morphology rate (or something like that) of sperm when we first started dating. We weren't planning to have kids anytime soon, but he had been previously married and they never prevented, but never had any children. So I suggested he see if anything was wrong with his stuff. So they said his chances were really low.... Then we ended up with our boys :)

    Congratulations to you, you sound thrilled!

    It sent a shockwave of fear through me.... I always think we are "safe" because my DH has very low sperm counts. Love being happy for you, but just not ready to add another to our brood yet!

    Me too! My husband's counts are so low though that our chance of conception with IUI was "substantially less than a percent". So I think we are good, but I wouldn't mind anyway.
